Mr. Paul English Situation lessons

One of the good memories that I think we all had was during English lessons. I remembered very well the situational English lessons of Mr. Pauls' where in one of the lessons, Charmeng had acted as a drunkard but I can't quite remember the other person who acted with him. At that time I was thinking that Charmeng really had the flair for acting as it was (I felt) quite good. However, that was not to be, as most of us probably went through in our life.

Talking about this...how many of us actually had achieved what they actually set out to do after leaving SMSJ? Me?...I really had no inkling what I wanted to do except that I want to study 'overseas'. That is why despite of being very active expecially in form 5... representing school, district and then state in hockey and also athletics, I always try to keep up with the studies and when nearing MCE/SPM I would 'pulun' to ensure that I get a good result in the exams (maths & science aggregate below 21) to be eligible to study abroad.

Then, when the scholarship offer came from MARA, I was offered to do Mathematics!...But look where I am now and what I'm doing...working in the manufacturing industry? I don't know about you guys, but for me it has been quite a struggle to be involved in something which I don't really know about in the first place...but that will be another story which I will write about later....

Salam. I do agree with Syam. There were many good memories in Mr Paul's english class. especially when we were asked to act out the situation in the book.

Well Syam... U cannot have everything U wish for in this life. The best wish is to have a successful and happy life. I guess none of us ever thought that we are going to be what we are now. Me? I never thought that I could be an accountant now. After MCE I wanted to apply for the secretarial course in UiTM... Things will turn out to be the best for us....

Azida,
Not to worry about Noorsham. He is in the manufacturing line now which will be related much to production and he is into it now after having a successful rate of family production - 12 kids.

Azida, Usop,

Thanks for your kind words. Sometimes I feel like giving everything up...but with words of encouragement n support from good ol' friends like both of you really make my day n give me strength to strive further. Anyway since in Form 4, my motto was "Not the triumph but the struggle and the most important thing is that you have fought well" taken from the title of a 'Book Section' of Reader's Digest I read in that year. Thanks again guys. Really look fwd to see you on 1312
